Is the elf setting using a translation convention, or is it supposed to be in English? The names you throw in suggest the former, as does the fact that most settings with elves have one or more elven languages, but I don't want to talk about characteristics of an elven language in an ask if there's not supposed to be one.

I haven’t seriously thought about the translation convention.  I imagine humans in general are assimilated enough to be speaking the same thing the elves speak and there isn’t an “Elvish” that humans wouldn’t know, though.
