The story does have the exact tweet though and also an accurate paraphrasing in the first paragraph. Only the headline was misleading.

Sure. I was just saying that the story itself wasn't incorrect. There wasn't any need to do your own research etc in this particular case, just to read the article (or even just the first sentence from the article).

You mean your claiming victory by stating something to the effect of "I won't talk to you unless you show examples" after being shown multiple examples, and claiming something is "irrelevant" to the ongoing discussion, when the thing is very much what the discussion is all about? That is not how the world works.
edit: By your own logic (which of course you'll ignore here, because it is inconvenient), my MO is irrelevant when talking about how there are (at least) two independent obeservers who have come to the same conclusion about your selective ignoring of the available evidence. Focus on the topic and hand, and don't get distracted.
