Doesn't say no FISC order against any of his associates, or that his calls weren't incidentally collected phoning other subjects of orders
-

Nor that he wasn't wiretapped under a Title III (criminal) wiretap order (although that would be unlikely) or had records checked via an NSL
-
Pt: is a conspicuously narrow denial.
-
Depending how close to the sides you want to drive, could also be an emergency FISA order that was subsequently declined.
-
That gives you a way to simulteniously get to "there was a FISA wiretap" / "there was no FISA order"; tho a longshot.
-
Then only needs approval by AG, tho gets you less than 7 days and still requires giving court notice / making application.
-
Rewatching: also says no order against *the campaign*. Tho wouldn't preclude an order against eg Manafort or Page once they left campaign.
-
@pwnallthethings Ahh, great catch! If FISA was granted in October, Manafort & Page were "technically" no longer members of DT's campaign.

@pwnallthethings I thought the "or Trump Tower" part was surprisingly broad. -
@HelenKennedy no, that's the narrowest part. No way you'd get a warrant to tap the whole of a 58 storey multi-tenant building. -
@pwnallthethings I took that to mean "..or anyone in Trump Tower." You think he meant it more specifically? That would def change it. - さらに表示

@pwnallthethings Also timing. Obama ended the investigation in January so there is no *current* FISA warrant on anything to do w/Trump. -
@MarlaMHughes@pwnallthethings he didn't do that -
@LouiseMensch Taking your word for it, but what I read had him quoted as ending it in January before Inauguration.@pwnallthethings - さらに表示

@pwnallthethings yes, it does not deny that there could be a FISA court order against 'any US person' in connc. with Russian bank servers - さらに表示
