So he's also putting his detractors in a bind to either keep denying they bugged him, or to produce the probable cause information, which , if they do that, they will be admitting they did bug him after all.

What is killing them is he is such a know commodity, all his dirt has been revealed what little there is so they have nothing but fabrication to work with, and that evaporates the moment it's examined.
