Yes he has some terrible games. However, this is the first time that he's on a team and he's a MAIN option. That was not the case at Juve. And we see we see he is not shrinking away from these moments, he's trying it's just not coming off at the moment.

Also let's not forget Bale's first season at Real Madrid.

Pogba is an exceptional talent which is why so many are hard on him. The people calling him a waste of money should be ignored. He's not worth the 90 mil, YET, but he's a great talent. He should be more composed in front of goal. No excuses from him today. He needs to do better.

Biggest problem today though was Zlatan without question. Unforgivable penalty miss quite honestly.

People seem to forget it's his first season in real PL, in one of the hardest positions to play (defence and attack to learn).

Today id rather question why Mata wasn't no 10, Why - if Rooney had to play - he wasnt on the right where he could cross the ball. Why we keep playing without width , etc. We got a long way to go still .

He was pretty crap today, forget the bad passes or being dispossessed and just focus on missing 2 clear chances from yards out. Especially the one in the last minute was in the corner by the goal and if he just kicked he would have scored, instead he flopped on the floor and we drew. Every player should have put that away let alone someone who is decent at finishing.

I thought he was good for 70 mins, he's been great in about half our games this season which is what you would expect for 23 year old centre mid who has never played in the PL before. We need to find a replacement for Carrick and our cm trio of Pogba/Hererra/Replacement will be fine.

Some of the 'chances' Pogba had weren't as clear cut as they looked. You could have Messi on them and he'd miss. Bournemouth resorted to playing 17 at the back at the end, no matter who you are, you can't put the ball through solid matter.

'Bale was good in his first season. Yes. Yes he was.

However Bale was a CF/RW a totally different position to a box to box midfielder.

Also he was doing it in La Liga which to the Prem doesn't even compare. Insanely different leagues. Let's see Bale running up and down the pitch with the Physicality of the Premier Leauge.

He's still right though. His season wasn't looked at as "great" till he played those finals which are exactly the two examples you gave. Before that they shat all over him

I think the main option thing is a laughable excuse. Bale also lit the league up in his first season. And i think you should proofread your posts.
