Looking at our remaining games including Spurs (A) City (A) Arsenal (A) and Chelsea (H) it looks like Europa League is our best shot at CL football next season. At this stage i's rather finish 6th than 5th for obvious reasons. (self.reddevils)

Why? I mean they still get EL football in sixth right? Plus we've already got EL football from the capital one cup I believe.

Regardless your right but this bunch of fucking bottlejobs isn't winning a competition like that, when shit gets tough you can expect Pogba to completely lose his head, Martial to slink back, Zlatan to miss sitters and play like shit (50% chance of that and 50% chance of him being brilliant) and Carrick, Rooney, Valencia and Hererra try drag the team to anything resembling success.

Disagree that we are shrinking violets, we were under LvG. We have not been beaten in the league since October and have dug out wins and a League Cup too when up against it.

We've played bottlejobs Tottenham (not that we aren't) and Liverpool in shite form in that time, who else? Nobody of note.

The only time we were up against it was the league cup final and the boro game, in Boro we stepped up, league cup the team continued to play shite and only Ibra was able to bail them out.

When it gets rough half our starting 11 fuck off, mata becomes anonymous half the time, Carrick is crowded out of the game because Pogba is consistently shite under pressure (see Chelsea, Liverpool etc.), Martial slinks back into the shadows and plays one or two decent passes and because people like him they wank off about how he had a good game and Ibra is very hit or miss under pressure.

We've had chances before but today was our best chance. We're not out of it though. If Liverpool Vs. Arsenal ends in a draw we're just two points off 4th with twelve games to go. We can beat Arsenal and Spurs, at least. The season City won it on the last day we gave up a 7 or so point lead in the last few games after coming back from a similar point deficit ourselves earlier. We're still unbeaten since October, no team will be looking forward to playing us.

Liverpool have won 1 game in 2017 ahahahhaha and we can't even overtake them.

We also still have to play Chelsea at home (which we aren't goin to win because they're unreal atm and we're average), Arsenal away (which is a decent chance of victory), Spurs away (they're a lot better than us and its the last game at WHL so we aren't winning that) and City away who are again comfortably better than us and pep always beats Mourinho. We're fucked.

But our games are a hell of a lot tougher and the fixture congestion. If i was having a bet on it i'd say we will lose out.
