From memory you are correct, if the ref punished it in the game I believe it's seen as dealt with (could be wrong).

    Definitely, 3 games

Absolutely. Throwing elbows must not be tolerated.

The referee talked to him after the elbowing incident which would mean he's seen it. So, there shouldn't be retrospective action I think.

That only happens if there was a foul and not violent conduct. That changed in 2013.

Probably. Means he'll be out for the FA cup tie agaibst Chelsea.

He will do since it is was violent conduct. It was changed in 2013 to include if the ref saw it.

The FA will make a special case for it. Same as Mings.

I think there will be especially considering how everyone is bringing it up, from the commentators to the players during the post game interviews and without a doubt, the newspapers tomorrow.

And if it does happen, we're going to be in big trouble considering how much we rely on Zlatan.

"In the second case, the referee or one of the linesman may have got a partial view of something but they were not certain as to exactly what had happened. In those circumstances they may include a reference to an incident in their report and request a review."

It depends on Friend's report then. As Carragher pointed out at half time, he spent considerable time speaking to Rooney and Zlatan after the elbow, so he definitely saw it, it depends on what he judged then I suppose. If he somehow judged it accidental then Ibra "might" get away with it... but I think after he sees it on TV he will have a case of selective amnesia about the whole thing and won't remember seeing it :P

A deserved ban if he gets it anyway, would put him out of Chelsea in the FA Cup and then Middlesborough (A) and West Brom (H) in the league.

Yes, definitely. It will be interesting to see what we do without him. I hope Rashford goes in at striker, but it'll probably be Rooney.

I hope so. Rather Rashford get's a run upfront.

You're hoping our top scorer gets a three match ban. Wtf

But rashford has been poor a starter. He's always done better as a super sub

You can't play worse than Ibra today anyway so is it matter? Let's give him a shot, or Martial upfront if Miki will be back.

It doesn't get any more reactionary than this.

      Reactionary? haha

I've been saying it all season, Ibrahimovics finishing is absolutely atrocious, he needs like 50 chances to score a goal.

It's a joke the wankfest the media and fans gave him in this last week, so obvious to see how why Pep threw him out of Barcelona and why Inter Milan become a much better team without him.

This is clearly going to be another midtable season for us, so why not develop our own players instead of giving game time to someone who will go this summer or next.

Rashford is our absolute worst option upfront though. If LVG was still he he would be a great option but he has none of the tools needed to play as a striker in a Jose team.

What about Martial? he was bought here as a striker yet he only got 45 mins against Wigan to prove himself.

Even Cantona said he reminds him of young brazillian Ronaldo and let's not forget Martial was a good finisher last season.

We really need to try something else now, playing Ibrahimovic every game is now costing us too many points.

Rashford isn't good enough to be a lone striker in a club that is chasing CL.
