1 p.m. UPDATE: President Donald Trump has arrived in Orlando, where he’ll discuss school choice at a private Catholic school. He’s expected to leave Central Florida aboard Air Force One at about 3 p.m., putting his arrival in Palm Beach County at about 4 p.m.

EARLIER STORY: Expect another Friday rush hour with slow traffic around West Palm Beach, as President Donald Trump is set to arrive this afternoon to spend his fourth weekend in Palm Beach since his inauguration.

Air Force One will land at Palm Beach International Airport sometime after 3:30 p.m., which is when Federal Aviation Administration flight restrictions go into effect for the area. This timing could create some traffic issues during rush hour, with Southern Boulevard from the airport to Mar-a-Lago and adjoining roads closing for Trump’s motorcade to pass. Read more about what officials are doing to help.

Before coming to his Mar-a-Lago Club, Trump will stop in Orlando to discuss school choice at St. Andrew Catholic School. Gov. Rick Scott and Sen. Marco Rubio have said they will attend that event, which the White House called a “listening session.”

Tonight, the president is scheduled to appear at an event for GOP donors being hosted by the Republican National Committee at the Four Seasons Resort a short drive from Mar-a-Lago.

Check back with The Palm Beach Post throughout the day for updates on the president’s arrival.
