Like they can't get healthcare like any other person? Planned Parenthood isn't the only place PEOPLE can go.

Transgender health care is incredibly difficult to get around the United States, not even mentioning the world.

In many cases medical providers want transgender people to undergo barbaric and ancient wait times and practices in hopes they can be 'cured' of their trans-ness without allowing transition.

In many cases Planned Parenthood is the last stop before trying to fumble and order your own hormones online, which is for many the last stop before outright suicide.

Just because you don't understand something, and have had the distinct privilege of always feeling ok with your own sex, doesn't mean you shouldn't show empathy and caring towards other fellow human beings.

Also, hrt is fucking expensive and a large portion of the trans community has no familial support (more likely to live in poverty).

How edgy.

These are real people you know, with hopes, dreams, emotions. They are transgender whether or not they get help... but without help they will just hurt their entire life. You know the deepest emotional pain you have ever felt? Imagine that on a near-daily basis your entire life. And to compound it, a society of people that say filth like this... people who hate you just because you exist.

It just makes me so sad that we can universally decry how Jews were systematically exterminated, or how blacks were slaughtered like property, or how terrorists in modern day kills innocents.

And yet here are other human beings, just as valid as you, and needing the empathy and support of their fellow human beings.... we are all in this together after all... and your reaction is some nasty hate speech which seeks to demonize us and make us out to be some kind of 'other'. As if we aren't human beings just like you.

I know life is tough for all of us, but you create your own torment when you take your inner pain out on other groups just for the crime of existing.

Shame on you. I hope in your darkest moment you might one day truly understand what a disgusting thing you are.

I am one of the people in your government, an active duty military member, who has spent a lot of time fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan so you can be so comfortable and enjoying your lattes and Reddit.

Other active duty members who I know, and who live to work security outside the wire, are only alive today because of the HRT that Planned Parenthood provided them.

You are taking a royal shit all over your own country, and it's military, with your backwards and intolerant attitude.
