Antoine Griezmann will find it hard to reject Premier League giants - Aspas

Former Liverpool forward Iago Aspas believes it would be difficult for Antoine Griezmann to turn down a move to the Prem.

Former Liverpool forward Iago Aspas has said Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann will find it difficult to turn down offers from the Premier League's biggest teams.

France international Griezmann is one of the most sought-after talents in the game and has been linked with a move to Manchester United.

Although the 25-year-old is under contract at Atletico until 2021, he has spoken about the possibility of playing in England.

There has been speculation that Arsenal are also among clubs considering paying the €100 million release clause in his deal.

Aspas, who joined Liverpool from Celta Vigo for €10 million in 2013 before returning to his former club via Sevilla, told AS: "When a big club like Manchester United, City, Arsenal or Liverpool come for you and you are at a smaller club, it is difficult to say no.

"I believe that Griezmann is at a big club in Atletico, and sometimes it is not easy to decide."

Some reports in Spain have suggested Aspas could be a potential replacement for Griezmann if he were to move to the Premier League, with Arsenal's Lucas Perez also said to be under consideration.
