How it's shown:

• Manosphere advocates for the "overthrow of feminist culture" and "degrading pick-up techniques -"with a few exceptions, it spews misogynist and hate-filled rhetoric"
• focus on Elliot Rodgers and incels
• pits men against one another as alpha and beta
• unsub throws acid in the faces of attractive women
• website is called "NoMeansYes" and the comments are very similar to redpill comments.

Being careful to not have spoilers, it was an interesting depiction. They had one of the main characters, Reed, (who is pretty much the opposite of toxic masculinity: cute, smart, extremely thoughtful, cares for his mom and his friends) in prison - showing men as potential victims of prison rape culture too.

It's really interesting to see theredpill stuff make its way into mainstream culture! I think this depiction was pretty accurate in terms of how they talk - someone did their research into the forums, for sure. They mention numerical ratings, hatred for women who like weddings, fear of cucking, crazy ass stuff about feminism.
