Frankly, given the hate emanating from transgenders, I realize that any work I do, anything I am concerned with, must be for actual women, having been one myself for so long and suffering crimes, indignities, discrimination, and from patriarchy itself. I don't interact with transgenders online purposefully, nor do I know any personally, and don't have time to invest in them, just to fight their ideology.

It was a very good article. I wish more people would listen and this kind of writing would get out to more women, along with that of BigBooButch on another thread. When a woman who doesn't have the same social, political, sociological or religious views starts talking or writing about the same objections, facts, and viewpoint of women who are GC and radfem, a lot of us know the truth. The bottom line for me is that something gets done about it.

Yep. And just because people disagree on any other women's issue does not mean there can't be agreement on this one.

BigBooButch (as a butch) identified the patriarchy-shaping trend of butches going FTM and being validated as, I forget her words, but basically as "apex butch."

Am aware that we don't see FTMs as the bad guys, not even when they legally identify as guys, because, female. However, FTM advocacy has been and especially now being a currently a Trojan Horse opening a gigantic man-sized door for any man to walk into in a public situation like public restrooms. Currently, it benefits the patriarchy by 1) having women validate that as somehow "better" as BigBooButch described, because patriarchy; and 2) opening that man-sized door for MTF, because patriarchy.

How do we handle the issue?

I'm beyond happy that this dicussion is finally appearing in NZ media, but it's also such a shame that it has had to come from Family First. I'm very open about my feminism in my friend group but the repercussions of using this article to show my perspective will do more harm than good. Pat on the back to Family First for speaking out about the issue when no one else will though.

It isn't even a matter of "opinion." These trans are mentally ill, the men being sexual fetishists.

If these guys want to crossdress, they can do it at home. Nobody cares. The problem is they want to force their fetishes and perversions on the rest of us. I for one am not having any of it. This transgenderism shit needs to be shut down before women's rights are completely destroyed in this country.

I keep seeing more hopeful signs that people are waking up to the objective reality of comorbid mental illnesses and other disorders in trans people. (Forestalling accusations of stigmatizing---I suffer from CPTSD that manifests in OCD, panic, and major depression.)

But what's really necessary? Recognizing the strong correlation between Cluster B personality disorders and trans, especially MtT narcissists. And personality disorders are not "mental illnesses" in the classic sense. You basically can't cure a Cluster B because a defining factor of their character is a disbelief that they are able to be wrong about anything, or that other people have legitimate needs.

Trans Inc., specifically the autogynephile MtT set is a nest of NPDs, BPDs, and probably some sociopaths. On the flip side, young women with autism or who are trauma-damaged by abuse are being transed in service of this ideology while their real problems (which can and should be helped) are ignored.

It's a tragedy.
