Well there is a "common sense" comment with high upvote:

"Here is some more data: Women earned majority of doctoral degrees in 2014 for 6th straight year, and outnumber men in grad school 136 to 100. It's really not a mystery why women have more student loan debt. If this is a problem, the solution is to make less women go to grad school I guess?"

So much hamstering in that thread. No answer is correct until something bad about women is caused by muh oppresshuns. Women sucking in any way does not exist: basically modern feminism. Meanwhile men are knuckle dragging, mindless rapey thugs. Ugh. Me do physics and math with ape brain. Me build civilization. Something, not right here.

I never go over there, but I was surprised at the number of red pill trolls on that thread. Maybe they're checking those guys' post histories and following them back over here to troll us. Lots of trolls here lately.

Paraphrasing here but "Women feel its unsafe to live off campus". So, rape culture and the patriarchy are responsible for higher student debt levels.
