Greetings. Coming back on this subreddit with a story and field report of sorts. Been on pill for 2 yrs , wife initiated divorce 1 yr ago. Was active on this subteddit for a long time. Kudos to jacktenofhearts, trainingthebrain, archwinger and strategos autokrator if you guys still lurk here/ moderate. Used to use other Reddit usernames which I forgot and don't use anymore.

Anyway wanted to share the below since it's a good story (I think):

"It's like having a wife". This is what one of my plates told me the other day about her husband. She is a businesswoman whose company I have been enjoying for almost 2 years. We've been seeing each other every few weeks or so . She's awesome (early fourties, hot , thin, smart) and eager to please. Me, not her hubby. They've been married for 20 years. And apparently in one of her recent conversations with her hubby she told him if it weren't for their kids she'd leave him. She's been using all kinds of excuses not to have sex with him, treats him like a piece of shit and the poor fella puts up with it. This is a classic case of a young alpha (him) turned fat suburban hubby beta boy. He's let himself go, has no social network of his own and now that he's been put on notice he is eager to please his wife even more than before. Which of course as readers of this subReddit know, has turned her off even more. He wants to book an exotic vacation just for the two of them and she's been avoiding it like the plague, agreeing only to family vacations.

I cringe when I hear stories of shit he does/says and how she treats him. At one point he suspected she was cheating on him and was actively tracking her behavior and whereabouts. She forgets her track-my-iPhone on when at my house (that was the end of ever meeting at my place despite her assurances, and a reminder that you must never ever let someone else control potential outcomes for your health and safety). Poor guy calls, she picks up and dude goes "you said you went to the gym, what the hell are you doing in [my town which is like 25 miles away] at 7 in the morning???" She proceeds to put him in his place right in front of me, basically not just lying and avoiding answering a direct question but outright bullying him "How dare you call me in the middle of my class/workout. You're embarrassing me. Sit your ass on the couch and wait for me to get home!". Since then we've only been meeting in hotel rooms (which she books and pays for) and with decreasing frequency since i have a job to keep me busy and frankly better looking and a lot less complicated plates. Since my life has changed dramatically once my wife filed and I am living the new life I want I have a lot less room and appetite for relationships like this one involing lies and conceit.

So now that all of a sudden the poor dude seems to care about their relationship and wakes up early, takes care of shit in the household, minds the kids more than before, she says : "it's great! it's like having a wife!" Yet of course she still hates his guts since for years he's been a drunk captain who couldn't care less apparently. And she has less interest in fucking him. Having been married myself until recently and been through a drunk captain phase as well, the more stories she shares the more I shake my head and think this is textbook. I am the Chad now. And I am thankful for having taken the red pill two years ago. My life has never been the same since. But I see myself a lot in stories she shares about the poor fella since that was me a few short yrs ago: beta pleaser Mr. Nice Guy.

Bottom line: don't be(come) a pussy. And best not to mess around with married women. There is a sea of available women out there eager to fulfill the wishes of a high quality man.

Divorce sucks but life afterwards can be very rewarding. Good luck.
