They always cite the lack of jobs. But if marriage was for love, all the high earning women would still marry them

Saw this today and there were a TON of comments from guys all over the world. MGTOW was all over the comments.

Love for your money is more like it.I was asked recently by a 28 year old overweight Trump hating single mother how it is that I got to be in my late 40s without ever getting married.

The problem was none of the girls I ever met wanted that. Oh, they all wanted me to promise I wouldn’t look at other girls, but half of them really just wanted to pin me down so that they could wear sweat pants and sit on the couch and get fat while the other half wanted me to commit to them so they could have my stuff while they fucked other guys behind my back.
Nobody wanted what I wanted… to be an equal partner in a powerful, dynamic and meaning-filled relationship.”

Why is non-marriage a mans problem? His failure to provide, get a job, or the economy, what about whats wrong with women? I can guarantee you that the numbers will show most, if not all, women want marriage but men on the other hand will do without it and just want sex. Non-marriage is a female problem inflicted on men as usual. As long as we are in a “hook up” culture the desire for marriage will continue to dwindle. You would think instead of using the typical male shaming tactics that don’t work anymore women will come to a realization that its them because they are not worthy enough to be proposed to and change the bait, but noooooo its men and the jobs they cant get. This article is pretty slow to what is really going on. The “elephant in the room” so to speak.

No, it’s a business contract where men lose in many areas if it fails. Men have shied away from the whole idea of marriage. It is not due to commitment phobia (other than that garnered by the real fear of loss of their assets and the high percentage of divorces that are initiated by women, family court inequalities, children and child support/ visitation nightmares, etc.), living in their parent’s basement as the media often suggests.Actually, the above potentialities give men a great desire to NOT marry, after having seen the same thing play out over and over with their friends, fathers, uncles, sons, etc. It’s not longer NOT common knowledge what the risk of marriage is today for any man.
Being that feminism has promoted promiscuity, men can find a partner for hookups with little trouble. Adults don’t tend to bring “balance sheets” with them in a hookup culture. Of course, women aren’t looking for a partner in this man, but it makes little difference.
Men need sex more than they need to settle down and pursue a social and economic contract with a woman. Women need a more robust social life than men. That’s just psychology.
It’s just the way it is.Now, if women want to get married then yes, there is a problem… for women.
Hypergamy would demand that a man bring an equal social and economic status to the table.
But in today’s divorce culture, why would any man who “qualifies” and has the necessary social and economic status do so?He will simply utilize women as he needs them since he is in such demand, being desired by more and more attractive women as the gap continues to grow. The only difference between this man and a man with less social and economic status is in his broad selection of available females. Most of the women who consider him “highly eligible” will continue to have hookups/ short relationships with this man hoping that they can “catch” him.
This is a female created post-feminism problem that no mainstream article is brave enough to touch.
