I'm seeing a lot of articles that claim we just matched liverpool at 41 trophys. What trophy aren't they counting as a major honor?

looking at the table, a Liverpool win v. Arsenal at the weekend just catapults us maybe two spots up the table. squeaky bum time!

Even if we beat Bournemouth there's no possible (realistic. If we win 10-0 and it's a draw in the other game we move up 2) result in the Arsenal/Liverpool game that would see us stay in 4th, so we can only move up 1 place.

Nah, we're at 42 already if you don't count the Club World Cup or Intercontinental Cup (44 if you do). I'd guess they're either not counting the Cup Winners' Cup, or the Super Cup.

I hate all these "this counts, this doesn't", can't we just count every trophy or honour achieved? Much easier.

Like, why is the League Cup, a major honour, in the same category as the Champions League? One is significantly easier to win than the other.

I think it's the supercup. If you count it then you have to count liverpools three super cups which would mean they have more major trophies than us. Although it really shouldn't be counted as a major trophy imho.
