We didnt play too well. But we still won. Our defense really needs to not just boot the ball up the field every time they get it. Really slowed our whole game down and just kept giving the ball back to them to pressure us over and over. Zlatan's ability at his age is incredible. Ander had a real good game. Jose was def not happy with the way we played and Im glad to see even with the win he doesn't accept a game like that. GGMU

The thing is with high pressing teams that's exactly how we need to play. Booting the ball up the pitch. However we didn't get pressed in to our own half and this is what fucked us up a lot. As the defenders were still clearing they still had a lot of players set and ready to push out once we cleared. Southampton tactically were awesome yesterday

Not entirely "deserved", if there is such a thing in football, but it feels fantastic to win that. Zlatan once again showing why he is one of the best strikers in the world, the man oozes quality and quintessential United winning mentality.

Might be the smallest competition we were in but it's out the way now and we are the champions. Fingers crossed we can use this as a catalyst to more trophies this season. Starting to feel more quietly confident about Europa league and top 4 now.
