Well, I am getting ready to make a trip and decided I need a better travel case to put my stuff in. I show up at the thrift store about 10 minutes before they open. Oh my god, there's at least 30 fucking people outside that place waiting to get in on a monday morning. No wonder I can't ever find anything nice in thrift stores anymore. Anyway, I check out the crowd. Almost all women, pushing into the front door jockeying to be the first inside. There is a colorful display of dyed haired among the crowd, purple red and orange. The doors open, and the crowd rushes in. Several of these people literally sprint to the jewelry case. The rest rush towards the electronics section. Some women go straight for the employees with their carts putting stuff out. I see distressed looks on the employees' face lol. Unbelievable. Anyway I did manage to score a near new swiss gear backpack for 4 dollars (didn't really need for travel but I need something to keep my camera gear in), and another swiss gear travel case for 4 dollars.
I am so glad I am not part of this bottom feeder class, it is depressing. Young men reading this, please be smart about your choices. Work your ass off, and learn skills that will be in demand that you can make a decent living at. Be willing to learn, and be disciplined. Do not get distracted by bullshit and women. Focus on improving yourself. Trust me you don't want to be part of that desperate crowd standing outside thrifts shops before they open.
