President Trump’s nominee to be the next secretary of the Navy is expected to remove his name from consideration, according to reports on Sunday.
Investor Philip Bilden has run into problems with his financial holdings and is unlikely to meet the standards of the Office of Government Ethics, Politico and the US Naval Institute reported.
If Bilden withdraws, it would be the second Pentagon pick caught up in financial ethic concerns.
