　パスワード管理アプリ「1Password」シリーズを開発している米AgileBits Inc.は現地時間2017年02月26日、Mac用クライアント「1Password for Mac」をv6.6へアップデートするとともに無償化し、30日のトライアル期間後はアプリ内課金で1Password.comのサブスクリプションを購入し、使用し続けるように機能を追加したと発表しています。

1Password for Mac v6.6を新たにインストールすると、環境設定ウィンドウの[アカウント]タブに「480円で今すぐ購読」という表示が出現し、ここから1Password.comの月額ライセンスを購入できるようです。

スタンドアロン版は？

　1Password for Mac v6.6のリリースノートによると、既に1Password for Macのスタンドアロン版を購入された方はv6.6へアップグレード後もそのまま利用することが可能とのことですが、今後もスタンドアロン版を購入できるか等はまだ発表されていないようなので、何か発表があれば追記します。
