He's on 26 goals for the season so far. We have at least 16 games left (13 PL, 2 Europa, 1 FA Cup).

If he gets 14 goals in 16 games, which is entirely possible for him, he reaches 40.

I think we're likely to win the Europa anyway so with the added games from that, he's pretty likely to hit 40 goals for the season.

Bar Ronaldo, have we ever had a player with 40 goals a season? Absolutely insane that he's doing this at 35 years old.

He could have had 40 already too, that's the crazy part. He's missed so many sitters and had a 6/7 game goal drought and he's still on 26. Insane. And this is not just one good season, he's been doing this his entire career.
