Dear José,

On behalf of myself, and I'm sure many United fans alike- thank you. Thank you for restoring my faith and thank you for bringing the good times back to Manchester.

Since Sir Alex left, it has been a bumpy ride. We have had many ups and downs (probably more downs) and having trust in the club we've always felt to be so trustworthy got difficult. At times, it honestly was worrying that United would not restore itself to former glories, and we would spend years without a Premier League or European trophy, but now things feel different.

You've brought in Ibra, Pogba, Mkhitaryan and Bailly and all four have shown their worth this season, adding real value. You've given us stability- something we've lacked since Fergie left. You've given us vibrance, energy and most of all- discipline . We've just lifted the EFL Trophy on the back of two Ibrahimovic goals and yet another Lingard cup final goal and I'm, to be frank, over the moon. Usually I wouldn't care for lifting this particular trophy but this time it feels different. This time it feels as though it's leading to bigger and better things.

I'm honestly optimistic for the future, and excited to see where you take us next season. I think the Premier League and dare I say it, potentially Champions League, are coming home to Old Trafford and you José my man are the key to that.

So, on behalf of all of us- thank you José Mourinho. Glory glory Man United and the Reds go marching on, on, on.
