Isn’t it ironic that our country is quite religious and we frown at premarital sex yet a large number of relationships cannot survive without it?
Most people cannot do without sex in their relationships, especially the guys and a few ladies, I am not the judge of whether it is good or bad but it’s better to be in a sexless relationship, though.
Relationships without sex may not be perfect and all rosy, they would have their problems, their ups and downs but it’s nothing compared to the drama experienced in relationships where both partners have sex with each other.
Sex complicates things. You guys may have started on a good note, the trust was there, the loyalty, but once you start having sex, so many things happen. The guy may start acting funny, the girl would get very clingy, jealousy and anger and a whole lot of crap.
When you have sex with a person, you’re baring yourself before them, you’re giving them all of you, some guys may not appreciate this gift and you’ll end up getting hurt. Some girls too may want nothing more in the relationship than just the sex, this creates a problem.
She could even get pregnant if you guys aren’t careful, and we all know the next thing that would take place, sometimes, your unfaithful partner could give you an S.T.D, so there’s a lot at stake in relationships with sex.
In sexless relationships, you guys have enough time to study yourselves before the sex part, this would give you enough time, to make up your mind to be with that person. However, in relationships where people have sex before even getting to know each other well, someone is bound to get hurt, sex clouds our judgment, and after the sex, you may begin to see the true nature of a person, it may not be pleasing. You’ll be like, ‘to think I gave myself to someone like that’?
Finally, what hurts people most in break –ups is the memories of their sex life, they’ll feel hurt remembering all the things they shared but if you were to be in a sexless relationship, it would hurt still, but not as much.
