This was a tough question for me. Ultimately I decided on the very specific "freedom to live rationally." This is inherently contradictory to modern dating culture and marriage. Not only do participating in those arenas automatically severely restrict my freedom, it forces me to do irrational things for the sole purpose of keeping someone else happy. Flirting is not rational. Reproduction is not rational. Being direct is, but you're not really supposed to do that in a relationship. Working a job you hate to buy shit you don't need is not rational.

I'm curious to see how common this is. I fear there's too much raw hatred of women here and I hope that's proven wrong by your responses.
