According to WABC, the large banner was noticed at around 1 pm and authorities took it down.
The U.S. Park Police is currently investigating the matter.
The Department of Homeland Security today released new guidelines for how enforcement of President Trump‘s executive orders will go.
A group called Alt Lady Liberty has taken credit with this statement to NBC News:
