I feel some sort of way about putting intersex and asexual people into the LGBT community. Intersex is a chromosome rarity that has nothing to do with sexual orientation or gender identity and asexuality is well...lack of sexual orientation.

If pan means you date men and women and men and women with special identities, wouldn't that per their own terminology leave bi to mean that you date men and women but only the ones without special identities? Wouldn't that orientation in itself be considered an act of bigotry?

They're so intellectually lazy that they don't even look for proof themselves; they just spread rumours. If they'd actually done the work of finding out about the facts of the incidents in question, they'd be broadcasting the facts all over the place to add more credibility to their claims. Okay Cathy so first of all, if the rumors are true, WELCOME TO SEATTLE!!!! Some of us are pretty terrible (Capital Hill at night is terrifying), but I am proud to know of another feminist in my area, and WA State is beautiful.

Secondly, it breaks my heart to see someone experience this harassment, and the threats you and your friends have witnessed and received would terrify me. I am glad you reported this and hope that something comes of it.

Of all the seriously disturbed things said in that thread, there are only two instances where someone objects. One is raised regarding the carrying of weapons in public - not that it's wrong to threaten to go after someone with swords and a knife - but that the man might get into trouble for carrying, and the other is the issue of "misgendering".
