Russia will do its best to protect Assange or Wikileaks - who ever is a greater asset. Everything being dependent on the guy who wins Ecuador's election
They'll give some more time for Trump and Associates to deliver - removal of sanctions etc etc.

If that doesn't work - expect to see a leak to jolt the Administration
If nothing works the tap is going to be opened and you'll witness the great flood that washes away the swamp

This could happen with or without Wikileaks the last stage at-least. Russia can offer help to higher up's and provide evidence to build up a case if they have substantial data on all those involved.
It will settle the troubles within the US and Russia will demand what they want.
