I'm gonna say OP bought a cake, waited for the sweet kitty to sniff it and then OP mashed his face into it. Tripod all set up and everything. Meanie.

Those are defensive, reactionary icing spatters. Look, there's even some on the back feet as Mr. Kitty tried to regain his balance. If he'd been eating it, back paws don't touch food. His front paw and the icing marks show signs of quick, gripping, panic movement. You can see his chin print in the top of the delicious-looking cake.

Shame on you for smushing a cat into a cake for the sake of a photograph. What if he's allergic to gluten!

i just wonder why a cat would ever do this. i've never met a cat that would shove its face indiscriminately into a dessert. a roasted chicken, sure. but not a cake.

My cat would shove his face in anything that is edible. Literally anything.

We found him when he was a puppy, you could count his bones because he was almost dying by hunger.

Now (5 years later) he is still obsessed by food, he eats any amount of what you give him, if you give him too much, he will eat anyway and vomit afterwards.

I had a cat who liked icing on cakes and she never, ever smooshed her face in it or made a mess, she'd just lick the sides a bit. Cats hate getting dirty. The photo taker definitely pushed the cat's face into it.
