from an outside perspective its natural that we only see the best/funniest stuff but it wont be blockbuster every time he opens his mouth at the end of the day he's a football manager not a comedian.

His wife just had 2 surgeries and is healing in Portugal. And his children are currently attending school outside of Manchester. He is also living in a hotel. Plus he probably doesn't like the media since people at chelsea were leaking info when all the doctor + player drama started.

He still makes jokes and laughs. He made a joke about running, about his haircut, about lots of things, he even answered a journo's phone and joked around. He takes things seriously too.

I believe he is finally coming to terms with responsibility of being the face of the club. Since the two touch down incidents he has deliberately kept an analytical, and less passionate, disposition during the conferences.

Also, he feels that pundits have a romanticised view of Pep and Klopp brands of football, and his style isn't appreciated much. Hence, his recent comment that the team's play would be called art if it wasn't his team.

I'm pretty sure he will be more jokey once we will be at the top of the league table.
