This makes me wonder, why the club doesn't group more vocal fans together at OT too. These guys probably go to every OT game too, if they sit together at the Stretford End the home support would be a 100 times better. I have seen Barcelona do this with their more vocal fans recently, maybe the board should think about this.

There's quite a lot a fair few of the away fans who refuse to go to OT anymore because the atmosphere is that dead.

I agree with you though, I'd love for my ST to be in the middle of a load of other fans who chanted. Guessing if safe standing was ever brought in then that would be the ideal place.

Just on the way back from the game, the atmosphere was crazy in the away end. Not sure I'm going to be able to speak tomorrow after the constant chanting but Christ it's worth it!
