So I meet this girl in her late 20s from Okcupid. She is recently divorced, nice looking Asian overachiever with a fancy degree and no kids. Says her husband was great but she was no longer attracted to him. (A case of nice guy syndrome I suspect). Anyways we talk for 1.5 hrs on a coffee date. Everything seems nice. I tell her that I like edgy jokes such as ' are you Chinese or Japanese' and she tells me about her career as a speech therapist. Anyways we left on good terms, she even lunged for a hug. So I message her a few hrs later, saying that she seemed nice and I wouldn't mind seeing her again. She agrees and says that she thinks I am good looking and smart and we should get together again.

So a day or two later I invite her out to sushi over text msg, and she is like -"I thought about our date and I don't want to waste your time so we need to talk on the phone before we meet". I am like "what bothers you?" but she insists we talk on the phone later tonight (not over text) because she can gage my answers better ,she says. At this point it sounds to me like she wants to interogate me about something I've said . I don't think it was anything I couldn't have explained, but I don't take kindly to being badgered like this as a condition for a date. Who does that? So I wrote my last txt " 1.5 hrs is plenty of time to know if you want to see someone again or not. I am going to have to decline your invitation for a 'talk". She said "ok, thanks for letting me know" and that was it.

I am not opposed to dating , but women are unreasonable. You guys probably will say it was a shit test, and I won't disagree. But I take it as an insult when someone tries to interogate me, that destroys all good will. There isn't a point to dating someone after that. I haven't had a lay in over 3 years, but won't compromise my self respect for it.
