I can't emphasize this enough, brothers. Don't delete anything. This may very well be the evidence that will save your bacon.

Truth in point, when I broke it off with an LTR, I did so via email. a written record. The email reply I got was vindictive, ugly, nasty, blaming, and horrible to read. I was called a coward. I was called all sorts of things. But, I had evidence, a written record of "her" frame of mind. A snapshot of the leopard showing her spots.

Was she done with just this email reply? Of course not. She was just ramping up, looking for a way to punish. Looking for revenge.

And so, this is why you need to NOT break it up in person. You need to set the stage.

The break up email should be classy, respectful, and worded to paint you in the finest light. when the showdown comes, the hamster flies, and she will be out for blood - yours.

By keeping your records, you have face saving evidence. For your protection, gents, even if it's ugly and don't want to look at it or be reminded of it.
