I am by no means a philosopher or psychologist. I'm still pretty young at 23. In computer science, programmers code for worst case scenarios.
For example, say we are searching through a collection of numbers( an array) for a specific number. The worst case scenario is takes a long time because the number is either at the end of the line , or isn't there.
The average case is, we find the number in the middle.while the best case is finding the number at the very beginning .
I try and apply this to every thing I will do or experience.i always expect the worse of things because I know I don't deserve anything. The world owes me nothing. I expect failure, so than when success comes , there is genuine surprise and happiness(even then, life goes on). This is a way of the stoics and I thought of sharing.
