edit: incase you wernt aware the panther was one of the major influences behind the modern MBT doctrine everyone adopted after the war and influenced the design/theory behind most of the top-teir vehicles
Yeah Russian Bias is a complete myth that people like you still like to throw out there without any proof. Have you even played Russia? Germany is in a better state right now than Russia has ever been, especially since several of their planes are now getting BRs reduced. Also the T-34-85s have been increased to 5.3 and 5.7 respectively.
I get that the Panther 2 was one of the best 6.7 vehicles, but it wasn't overpowered and turning it into ATGM-fodder is the wrong move.
given the leopard is its immediate successor and falls into exactly the same boat i dont see the problem, the panther loses a little speed, has a higher profile and cant kill many vehicles frontally in a tier where fast glass cannons rule it is better equiped than most current 7.0s to compete in the faster paced flanking style
I already use it at 8.0 matches, to cap dificult zones and spare my leopards.
Its not easy, but it can kill everything.
1 88mm shot right in the middle of the it1 turrent and he is dead...
If you find IT-1 driver stupid enough to show you his turret...
Dumping Panther II back to 7.0 is just dumb move and is prob just done to satisfy the whiners who dont know how to kill one.
Gj as always taking good tanks and reducing them into basicly useless so nobody will want to use them anymore.
