Hey brothers, I was hoping I could get some motivation and encouragement while training for basic training.
Lately I been working out to prepare for basic training by going to future soldiers program and working out on my free time. Before joining the army, i was a couch potatoe, never really physical active, but more of a book worm/geek.
My daily routine is doing
.4 sets of 25 push ups
.4 sets of 25 sit ups
. And jogging around my apartment complex
I could do the 4 sets of push ups and jogging, but not the full sets of sit ups. I try to push my self through the pain, but I eventually submit to it. As I type this post right now, I should be working out, even though my body is completely sore. I'm afraid that during basic training, I would get recycled or booted out of basic training because of the physical activities. I will be leaving for basic in March 20th.
