Think Mata, Bailly, and Pogba have probably been our best today. Whole team is purring though which is great to see. I still think with just a bit more ball playing ability on Smalling (Maybe Rojo if he can keep form) and a LB with threat to get in behind and contribute defensively and offensively, honestly exactly what we had in Shaw at least pre-injury, this team can win the title. A couple more windows of good signings and that's a team that can challenge in Europe.

Surely that's not an unpopular opinion after that half? He's done everything I've wanted from him. Taken far less time on the ball and used his immense technique and passing range to fill the void left by Carrick while still getting involved further up the pitch. This is the player I was excited to have back when he returned.

We've looked aggressive at the back and look irritated whenever Watford have the ball. We transition quickly too, going from defending to all out attack so quickly that it's difficult to defend against.

Really impressed by them today but they really need to get another few goals in the second half to kill off the game early.

It's absurd anyway, he gets criticised for backpassing alot... Have they even seen Roy Keane play? He'd pass the ball back constantly and ask for it back. Keep the possession, don't give the ball away cheaply.

Some of the ADD people on here expect every player to take a Paul Scholes long ball whenever they get the ball.

We are playing great, our build-up play is brilliant, and we are rock solid in defence. However, we REALLY need to work on our finishing, it is absolutely dreadful! On another note, it sometimes seems like we miss a player in the box for the crosses, with Ibra playing more as a false 9.

I think it's quite a good idea. Ibra's hold up play is one of the best in the world, and he is also a great playmaker in my opinion. Just needs to find the correct balance, because I think it's a bit too often as it is.

Ibra's overall play has been very poor, and not for the first time.

Don't get me wrong, he contributes to a lot of goals so im not saying he should be dropped or anything, but far too often most of his game is spent with crap shots, misplaced passes , being offside etc.

    Ibra is playing poor but the best thing about him is he can have an awful game and still turn up for a goal. Only issue is, he has to since we don't seem to have a replacement.

    Martial looks sharp, Herrera is being everything we need in midfield and Mata is superb. Hopefully Pogba, Ibra and Mkhi step up in the second half. I want an early goal to kill this game.

    Our link-up play down the right flank after winning the ball back in midfield is unrecognizable from last season, or even six months ago. Herrera, Mata, Valencia, and Mkhi are so good at this kind of fast pass-and-movement we have lacked in the past. They occupy that space so well without overrunning each other, and the chemistry is a thing of beauty.

    Pogba and Bailly well able to switch the play out left to Martial. Now if only Zlatan could have more of an impact up top, first half his passing in the final third has felt a little too casual...

    The only person I would say isn't play so well is Ibra but it's not really caused too many problems so far it's not too bad.

    Enjoying this though we should be 4-0 up! Bad finishing from Zlatan and super keeperism from Gomes is frustrating, Pogba and Herrera playing very well, Mata is a lil genius.
