I was thinking about using /r/KeithEllison (once the DNC chair election is over) to hold Democrats in the party accountable to the platform. On one hand, people like progressives a lot because they don't act partisan and they call people out on their BS. On the other hand, we need to be as unified as possible in our opposition against Trump. Do we hold Democratic Party members accountable like the Tea Party did? Do we hold them to the Party Platform? Or do we accept the diversity of different states in order to appeal to moderates?
