Out of all the lolcows we study, Samuel Collingwood Smith is the one most ill at ease in his own skin, the one most used to bluster and boasting. He is almost vulpine in his childish cruelty. Almost sexualised in his pursuit of various people.

So when specific cases catch public attention, or even MPs attention they may raise the issue in parliament.

May, 98% of the time issues raised in Parliament are fluff pieces, local asspatting, celebrating acheivements and ensuring they are noted down on dusty records someone might look at in a century or two's time.

If Vordy had any actual pull whatsoever with his MP buddies (two of which were booted out in 2010, when he "floor crossed" because Sam is a shitheel who does that.) then they wouldn't raise the issue as an EDM.

They'd talk to ministers directly, and lobby for a government issue on this matter, or how it effects lives etc.

This is what happened hard on the Garry McKinnon case. It was brought up in parliament once and from then on was in the hands of the Prime Minister (Who was Home Secretary at the time).

That's actual power and influence in a case they feel has merit.

The government above gave a fucking boilerplate response because they'd have looked into the issue beforehand and found that it was an idiotic duping that the MPs had fallen for from a minor reseacher/attack dog of theirs who was clearly fucking nuts.

And again Vordrak is fucking exceptional and wrong as usual. Philippe Beaudette is a community manager, not a lawyer; he used to be a member of WMF's Legal and Community Advocacy Team but it was as Director of Community Advocacy only.

Beaudette probably didn't give him a thorough rimjob and kept it business-like, which is what Vordrak considers "arrogant".

Not giving a narc what they want or not playing their games drives them absolutely mad. The passive-aggressiveness in Vordrak's post says a lot.

The banlist must be getting bigger as Vordrak seems to be getting crazier as times goes on. He's becoming more obsessive about his 'enemies' every day, when I thought surely he would have given up by now.

 

He expected, and believes he is entitled to some lengthy, point by point legal argument that he can then post some voluminous mongoloid Internet lolsuit in response to. Not just "lol go away crazy guy."

That would require the respondent to take him seriously, right? Just making sure I'm understanding what their thinking might be here.
