Kiwifarms wasn't kicked off due to government censorship. It was kicked off because whatever you did violated their terms of service in their opinion. When you sign up with a web-hosting service to host Kiwifarms, basically you are playing in someone else's backyard and they have the right to set whatever limits they feel are appropriate.

 

Literally everyone but you figured this out nearly a year ago.

 

Not true in the case of Frantech. Your buddy Samuel Collingwood Smith put a Canadian lawyer on retainer and sicced him on Frantech. I didn't want them to deal with the archaic British libel laws that Smith hides behind, so I left.

Why would you be worried about British libel laws if you were hosted by a Canadian web-hosting service? If there was nothing illegal going on then Samuel's Canadian attorney would have simply told him there was nothing wrong. Aren't you aware that Great Britain recently amended their libel laws?

 

Canada is a Commonwealth nation and therefore honors Britfag law.

That's where the company that hosted the site was based. The site itself was hosted in California, but that doesn't matter.

Kengle and Vordrak are probably correct, though. I've been slowly reviewing a long list of places to host. What makes some places in Europe and Iceland excellent to host in is if you're distributing copyrighted material, or if you're a whiteblower. Freedom of Speech in the context of discussing someone else is categorically different and the best place to safely claim that Samuel Collingwood Smith is a terrorist is the United States. New Zealand appears to be a close second.

Its nice of them to be around to distribute that information beforehand. If they want the site and their threads down so bad, I would think that they would hold information they think would be useful close to the vest. They're autistic lolcows, though.

I don't think you understand. Vordrak doesn't really use Great Britain's libel laws as such. He files a small claim which he knows no-one is going to fly to the UK to defend and therefore gets a default judgement in his favour. While it would cost him money to domesticate the order in foreign countries which will enforce it, it would also cost whomever the order is served on money to argue why it shouldn't be enforced. As a general rule, it's simpler and cheaper to just avoid the situation by removing the reason for his nuisance actions.

 

But its true
