Thoughts on getting Lukaku instead of Griezmann? (self.reddevils)

I dont deny that griezmann is a top class player but hes a totally different type of player to zlatan, if we get him i think he'll be used in a similar way to the way martial is now whereas lukaku is very similar to Zlatan and could fit in easily in to the current system

Lukaku goes missing against big teams in my opinion, which is pretty much the only reason I do not want him. If he improved that aspect why not though!?

Part of that might be it's easier for big teams to mark him out when he's the primary threat. Might not be the case when surrounded by better players.

I'd have either of them or none of them to be honest. If either of them come it would change our formation no? I'd rather see rash or martial in a striker role

This may be a bit of an outside option, but why not Icardi?

He's a leader and great finisher, and has as many goals as Higuain in Italy in fewer games.
