I thought I'd make some questions you guys can answer regarding our club as a whole to promote some discussion so here we go:

  • As a club from management to players, how much of an improvement do you see compared to last season, and which areas specifically do you think we have most improved on if any?

  • Are their any areas you see that are clear areas for improvement still?

  • Give me an instance where you have thought, 'OK we have improved', whether it be a moment in a game, or an action our club has made.

  • Bar Greizmann talk and Carricks' replacement, are their any other areas you feel we need to strengthen in the summer or are those the two and only targets we need?

  • [Bold Prediction] Predict who we will be battling it out with come the end of the season. Which position will we be fighting for and who with?

Boring day at work so I'll bite

  • Huge improvement for sure. Team morale might be the biggest change I can see, and of course actually creating chances and playing attractive football

  • Creating a bunch of chances doesn't mean anything if you can't finish them

  • Getting deals done early rather than having sagas that last the length of the summer. Mo plays a huge part in that; he attracts players, knows his targets, and attacks them early

  • We can definitely use a RB/CB. Valencia has been immense so far this season but he needs competition and he's getting older, Semedo would be nice. I don't really have suggestions for CB, as in who to keep other than Bailly, or who to buy

  • and finally I think it will still be us and city battling for 3rd and 4th. Liverpool and Arsenal can slum it in EL next season

Better management, less sideways passing, more attempts on goal, better morale.

Are their any areas you see that are clear areas for improvement still?

Yes.

Give me an instance where you have thought, 'OK we have improved', whether it be a moment in a game, or an action our club has made.

Signing Pogba, Ibra, and Mkhi. Seeing us score goals. Seeing us hit the post constantly and thinking "oi, we're playing attacking football." Watching how despised we seem to be in /r/soccer again.

Bar Greizmann talk and Carricks' replacement, are their any other areas you feel we need to strengthen in the summer or are those the two and only targets we need?

We either need another striker, or for Rashford and Martial to step up. We could use a calm, deep-lying playmaker. Constant improvement is always a must, as well. Good players available? Snatch 'em up.

Predict who we will be battling it out with come the end of the season. Which position will we be fighting for and who with?

We'll be fighting for 4th. As a result of our disappointing recent finishes, I'm to sure we'll nick it, to be honest - but I'm hopeful.

The mystique just seems to be returning, which is nice.

I'm a massive fan of our new gaffer, but this area seems a bit hit and miss to me. We've seen some players being shut out like Shaw, Schweinsteiger (which was just horrible to watch) and Martial, BUT this approach of proving your worth has got the best out of the likes of Jones, Valencia and Mkhi. LVG was worse IMO with his video criticisms, treatment of Valdes etc.

  • Are there any areas you see that are clear areas for improvement still?

Our finishing is poor. We've been blessed with RVP's and RVN's in the past, we need another finisher like that in this squad.

Our general approach to attacking now. Honestly, matches have gone some way towards what SAF's United played like with a heavy emphasis on attack. I knew this would be the case before Mourinho joined and was baffled by a lot of people's fear that he'd go defensive with us.

  • Bar Greizmann talk and Carricks' replacement, are there any other areas you feel we need to strengthen in the summer or are those the two and only targets we need?

Again we just need that finisher up front.

Realistically I think we'll be in a tussle for 3rd place with Man City. I can see Chelsea seeing it out, Spurs going second, Arsenal - probably will end up 4th, City may drop to 5th if we can keep form.
