Facts are a stubborn thing Bernie.

As someone from Canada, fuck off. We have the longest wait times in the developed world. You don't get the coverage you need, you just die waiting for it.

damn those costs are brutal for Melissa. Ouch.

[–]YosoffNatural Rights Conservative [

High deductibles under Obamacare are an enormous problem, I'm glad that came up.

Unfortunately, Bernie completely dodged the question.

[–]Clatsopvincit omnia veritas[S] [

Pam? Pam? ....Melissa.

Man, this lady got screwed by the ACA! $12,000 annual payment with a $13,000 deductible?!?

I know somebody in a similar dilemma. A lot of people I know pay the fine because it's cheaper lol.

Yeah but she makes lots of money so she gets to give to those less fortunate at the point of the socialist gun /s

Very one sided moderating already.

If it were up to Bernie, you should be able to get flood insurance during Katrina.

...I'm sorry, are you implying flood insurance isn't a basic human right? /s

[–]universal_strawConstitutional Conservative [スコア非表示]  (2子コメント)

Well Sanders is just flat out lying. That's not what Cruz said at all.

I can't wait to see Bernie lay on the charm on this questioner!

[–]Clatsopvincit omnia veritas[S] [

Bash: Ssssssenator.... Sssssenator.... I'm going constantly interrupt you all fucking night...

"Senator Cruz if you could answer the question"

"...I did. Multiple times."

Did Dana tune out of the debate for a bit there?

Is there anyone here who actually WOULD be in favor of single-payer?

[–]PM_ME_TOPLESS_MEMES [スコア非表示]  (0子コメント)

They should have a show together. I would watch it.

Yeah and you DONT use words well, Bernie

I can't imagine having this angry old man yell at us every day as president. Poor old man always seems angry

[–]narutouzLibertarian Conservative [スコア非表示]  (2子コメント)

They're surprisingly extremely civil.

I feel bad for the alzheimers patient debating Ted Cruz

[–]universal_strawConstitutional Conservative [スコア非表示]  (0子コメント)

"I didn't say it once."

Haha, that's gold right there.

Why are Bernie's suits so fucking huge on him.

[–]Clatsopvincit omnia veritas[S] [

He's IS a cheap suit...

Lived a healthy lifestyle....yeah....debatable...

I'm glad Cruz is talking about FDA regulations. It takes an average of something like 12 years and 9 figures to pass a pharmaceutical product through testing (of which I think only about a quarter actually succeed in making it to the market) which puts the manufacturer deep into a financial hole. Add in the patent issues when foreign countries make generics and so avoid paying the original manufacturer and we have a real issue with companies needing to make their money back.

It oughta be fun comparing the comments here to the ones in subreddits like /r/WayOfTheBern.

[–]Clatsopvincit omnia veritas[S] [

I'm trying to remember the question I was provided...

[–]YosoffNatural Rights Conservative [

This debate would be better without the moderators or questions from the audience. Just let them both continue to talk to each other.

[–]universal_strawConstitutional Conservative [スコア非表示]  (0子コメント)

Sanders: "Corporations bad!"

That's not an argument Bernie.

Hi Dana, how are ya.

That was actually kinda funny

[–]JManPoliticsFL GOP [

Ted is using Conservative tenants in his arguments, Bernie is going in 30 different directions to support Socialism.

"Unless you want to agree"

Oh my goodness how can they be so blatant.

Ahhhhh single payer!!

Nobody saw that coming

Cruz has something different and factual to say each time. Sanders just keeps repeating the same stump speech lines over and over and over and over again.

Have drug prices gone up rapidly since the passage of the ACA?

Yes, more rapidly actually.

So in a sense the ACA makes it harder on those with pre-existing conditions?

Bernie is already pulling the emotional card, not even 5 minutes in.

Ted, lets work together on Medicare for all. HAHAHAHA

[–]JumpyPorcupineMinnesotan Reaganite [

Crowder needs to be quiet. I don't care about his game.

[–]beer_n_gunsconstitutional conservative [スコア非表示]  (0子コメント)

Plenty of other streams to watch

[–]universal_strawConstitutional Conservative [スコア非表示]  (1子コメント)

Sanders isn't capable of making a coherent argument. He's just repeating talking points he used durning his campaign.

Bernie is one huge talking point. Just throws out the same handful of lines in a different order every time he makes an argument.

My goodness I forgot how good Cruz was. The carnival of the primaries detracted from this-- I don't want him to make a 2020 primary challenge as of now, but 2024 I think he needs to go for it again.

Cruz might be the best debater alive. This will be good.

I want a Cruz v. Shapiro debate. One of them has to take an opposite position.

Bernie legitimately looks uncomfortable

Bernie is going to learn what being fucked twice in one year feels like tonight.

[–]beer_n_gunsconstitutional conservative [スコア非表示]  (0子コメント)

Cruz gonna eat a bedtime snack of fried commie!

[–]chabanaisSic semper tyrannis [スコア非表示]  (0子コメント)

Bernie: Hurr hurr you'll lose coverage!

Cruz: 6 million lost their plans... millions lost their doctor... premiums increased by $5,000.

Trying to deny Cruz an opening statement? Yikes.

Yeah seriously! "Senator Cruz, what should this country do about health care?"

Fairly loaded opening question for him, glad he said he deserved an opening statement too.

I already wish this had been the election match-up.

Really Bernie? "Being a woman" is a pre-existing condition? Ugh....

Well, in fairness to Uncle Bernie, I am a woman and I was born like this. So I guess technically he's right, kind of.

[–]PumaplayssdClassical Liberal (Conservative) [

Oh boi

[–]Clatsopvincit omnia veritas[S] [

BooYa... shut the Bash up...

Oh god, CNN already "forgetting" to be fair to Cruz...

Alright so Sanders just exhausted all of his talking points in his opening statement...

how is that for a match up for the election?

[–]YosoffNatural Rights Conservative [

I don't remember Sanders being this blatantly dishonest during the primaries. He just told about half a dozen different lies.

He's lied at least 8 times so far, blatantly.

Drink every time Sanders uses a buzz word...

[–]Clatsopvincit omnia veritas[S] [

Alcohol poisoning is a serious — and sometimes deadly — consequence of drinking large amounts of alcohol in a short period of time. Drinking too much too quickly can affect your breathing, heart rate, body temperature and gag reflex and potentially lead to a coma and death.

Yeah definitely a bad idea.

[–]Clatsopvincit omnia veritas[S] [

Is that a little birdie? .... uhhhhhh.....
