Social media users found White House press secretary Sean Spicer’s Venmo account and are sending and requesting money with messages referencing the spokesman and the Trump administration.
Podcasters from “Who? Weekly,” an entertainment news podcast, shared screenshots of Spicer’s accounts and payments and requests he was receiving on Monday night.

Social media users still posted their payments and requests for money to Spicer on Twitter. Some charged Spicer for items including medical bills resulting from anxiety medication needed in response to the Trump administration, gum and for Spicer’s “lies.” Others sent money to Spicer for the “Bowling Green Massacre Fund” and for a pocket Constitution for President Trump.

Spicer has 27 friends on Venmo, according to his account.
“Saturday Night Live” mocked Spicer over the weekend when actress Melissa McCarthy made a surprise appearance as the press secretary. In the skit, she chewed an entire container of gum, shot members of the press with a water gun and lunged at one with the White House briefing room podium.
Spicer reacted to the skit later, calling it “cute” and “funny,” while also saying McCarthy “could dial back” her impression of him.
