Very vital victory for us. I was proven wrong since I was fearing another draw. 1 point off Liverpool and 2 points off Arsenal. 13 games left to go, very optimistic about us reaching Top 4. I'll admit that after the Hull game my hopes of reaching top four were horribly low.

Really important result and great to gain points on Arsenal and Liverpool.

But we can't underestimate just how bad Leicester are. We didn't create much until Mhik's moment of magic and I'm worried next week could be back to struggling to break down the bus.

I also think we'll see less and less of Carrick as the season goes on. Mou wasn't a big fan early on but brought him in to control possession. Now it seems like we have lots of possession so his role becomes a bit redundant.

Finally, fuck it would be good to be off sixth next week!

Cheers for putting this up, /u/bangar24 asked me to do it because he's got a pretty busy day and then I ran into task after task today so didn't find the time to do this so appreciate you stepping in mate.

As for the game itself, I didn't actually think we played that well. We created some good chances but largely I thought Leicester were terrible and we were just in the right place at the right time. I'm not going to argue though, vital 3 points that leaves the Top 7 of the league (Everton have come right on in 2017) pretty tight.

Got a pretty packed schedule coming up with only 1 PL game left in February but 5 fixtures to play! I'd say 3 points against Watford are a must and hopefully Martial will start to get some game time too.

Pretty boring game aside the decent 20 mins where we stepped up a notch, but I think once we'd found our feet, exploited them, and sat in 2nd gear, we were pretty much handed the win. Leicester were very bad!!

Like watching a cat play with a mouse.
