How did MGTOW get started? (self.MGTOW)

I hope this is allowed. I'm a very curious person. Did one person come up with this or was it a group idea? Is this a group or a lifestyle choice? Why did you men join/change your life?

Modern relationships and marriage are obviously a bad deal. So a number of men would come to this conclusion with or without mgtow. Basically mgtow was started by feminists.
