Alright I'm going to admit it, the more I read about it and the more I think about it, the ban was implemented poorly.
I don't believe it was immoral, I don't think it's a "racist Muslim ban" blah blah. (Yes, I've heard the arguments already from both sides, I'm just telling you how I still feel about it) But I can't argue that it wasn't rolled out hastily without many needed exceptions for things like this, etc.
I just can't find an argument for a reason for it to NOT be rolled out better. Not even because of this article alone, though it does appeal to my emotions.

I'd like to see those requiring medical treatment to be excepted from the ban.
The term moral obligation has a number of meanings in moral philosophy, in religion, and in layman's terms. Generally speaking, when someone says of an act that it is a "moral obligation," they refer to a belief that the act is one prescribed by their set of values.
Allowing foreigners to use our hospitals is an American value.
