Donald Trump is the president of the United States. We need to accept this and learn from how it unfolded. The office of the president is protected. All of the protests and marches will not change this. This is not to say the meaning behind the protests and marches are not good – they are just not going to be effective in removing him as president or swaying what he will or can do.

We need to use all of the energy that has been put into protests, petitions and movements to organize effectively when it matters democratically – on election day. Read through the results of the last election. I can not help but feel that if all the millions of the people involved in the marches and protests voted – we would have a different president.

There will be another election. On that day – when it really matters – where will you be? The answer to that question will decide if we have another 4 years of President Trump or not.
