Whenever they're going something shady, they start manipulating their API charts and the numbers don't match up with the actual exchange. It's sort of like they're omitting transactions.

Yes. You'd think that the way everyone can talk about technology and security, that everyone here is a developer knocking down 6 figures. Reality is that many are just buying Bitcoin with their barista earnings.

I know you're probably joking, but cash out if you need rent.

As a first approximation, markets should be treated as random walks. Meaning if you sell now, on average you're not missing out. Maybe it will go up, maybe it will go down, but it balances out. Unless you prefer gambling with your life needs (if you do, by all means go for it), you should cash out.

I'm not sure where you live, but prefer the security of Bitcoin over banks and fiat at a time when people are playing Russian Roulette with politics. I've been holding very little USD. I have an income and a 401k. I'm not going to die. I appreciate the link. I actually did well holding because it was $980 on Feb 1. I have two choices to pay today or be late and I'm not going to pay my rent late.

Security of bitcoin over fiat? The most popular image on this sub is of a bitcoin on a rollercoaster. Dollars are a million times safer if you're playing with rent money.
