lol I could care less about the price since I hold nearly nothing in ETC (all my investments are in Dash).

If they didn't want it to be copied, they should've release it under a non-FOSS license. I had a similar idea to Ethlance, but since the code is already there now it will just be unecessary to reinvent the wheel.

If someone makes an open source game for windows, is it wrong to fork it and port it to linux if the devs don't want to do the port? I certainly don't think so.

Never intended to raise money to my account or anything. And the money raised would be extremely small and wouldn't change the price at all.

The only thing I want is to have a job marketplace on a blockchain I'm confident won't change

The point you are completely missing is that all of these "Wonder Widget of the Week" schemes exist solely to "raise some money".
