Conte has came in and done a great job, but the core of the team is Mourinhos and is proof that Jose knows how to put a good team together.

Really Conte is benefiting from Jose's team so hopefully with another summer window behind us we will be real title contenders.

He signed Pedro too and although Fabregas has been a bit part player for them this season his still top of there assist charts and has changed a lot of games for them

Hmm.. I don't know, if anything, it shows that Chelsea's awful performances last season were down to Mourinho and not the really the players.

Definitely a mixture of both, when your two biggest goalscorers have downed tools and simply do not give a fuck its clear that you won't do well. Jose didn't change that or make amends with them or drop them but still its unfair to blame one party

I don't know tbh. The stand outs for Chelsea's team this year have been Kante Luiz Hazard Costa and maybe Pedro. Costa is the only one who he brought in who has really stood out. I think the better examples of building a team would be Madrid and Chelsea first time.
